ABOUT
SHO Design SHOWROOM + ARCHITECTUAL PLANS
Co-founder and curator of SHO Design Showroom, Heather Hilton brings her distinctive eye for design beyond her clients’ homes and into a shoppable showroom at The Shops at the Design Center in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Featuring original and artisan-crafted furnishings, art, and decorative homewares, the showroom brings these pieces together in styled vignettes and provides a welcoming space to meet and collaborate with clients.
As an extension of Heather’s independent interior design practice, SHO Design was founded to provide clients with access to architectural design and CAD drafting services when their projects call for it.

A NOTE
FROM HEATHER HILTON
I've always loved the way a home can tell you so much about the people who live in it. The things collected over the years, pieces passed down through generations, and little details that hold memories. To me, these are the things that make a home interesting, and often where the best design ideas begin.
What began as an intuitive understanding of color, texture, and composition, and a love for creating special spaces in my own home, naturally grew into designing for friends and family. Word spread, referrals followed, and a personal passion evolved into a business built around something I value most: the relationships I share with my clients. Because design is personal. So are the relationships.
Every collaboration begins with a conversation rather than a formal “consultation” and unfolds as a creative journey we share together. I want to hear about your family, how you live, the things you love, and even the things you're not quite sure about yet. It's all part of discovering what makes a home feel right for you.
Some clients come to me with an empty home and no idea where to begin. Others have beautiful furniture, artwork, family heirlooms, and a lifetime of collected pieces they want to bring together. I'm here for both, and everything in between.
I take care of the details, selections, and countless decisions that come with putting a home together, but I never want you to feel like the process is happening around you. It's your home, after all. I want you to be part of it, enjoy it, and feel comfortable sharing your thoughts along the way.
Creating a home that reflects your personality, lifestyle, and comfort is a journey I take to heart, and I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to share it with you!
Rooted in Santa Fe,
Inspired by THE WORLD
Years ago, I was drawn to Santa Fe for its art, individuality, appreciation for craftsmanship, and a way of life that makes room for enjoying the everyday. Eventually, I packed up my life and made it home. I'm so glad I did.
Living here has influenced the way I see design, though I've never believed a home should follow any one style. I find inspiration everywhere—in art, architecture, travel, and unexpected discoveries. I love bringing together pieces with history and something fresh and new, finding that balance where everything feels just right.
Whether you're in Santa Fe or across the country, I'd love to get to know you and hear what you have in mind. You don't need to have it all figured out. That's part of the fun, and something we can discover together.
